With a FUE method (Follicular Unit Extraction), hair grafts are extracted individually from the entire occipital area of the head or from the body. The entire donor area is shaved off. The surgeon makes a piece-by-piece collection of grafts with a special device (punch), which does not leave linear scars. After FUE hair transplantation, microscars remain on the back of the head in the form of small red dots, which become invisible 12-14 days after the procedure. The use of this method is recommended at stages I to V of hair loss according to Norwood Scale. FUE hair transplantation is also used for post-traumatic and post-burn scars, for the restoration of eyebrows and eyelashes. With a scarce donor supply, the FUE method allows patient to obtain additional grafts from the body (from the chest, legs, shoulders, back, beard and even the pubic zone). With the FUE method, we can extract up to 4000 grafts in one 6-8 hour session. For FUE seamless method, we carefully select each graft from the donor area - we extract only 2 to 7 hair grafts, which gives you more hair and tighter density. We can transplant up to 100 follicular units per 1 cm2, which is 250 - 300 hairs average. This density is considered ideal in hair transplantation.
- High survivability of grafts;
- Less discomfort;
- Faster Recovery;
- Postoperative traces are invisible, which is very important for patients with an active lifestyle;
- A more precise definition by the surgeon of the ideal density of the transplanted hair in each individual case;
- An opportunity for the patient to take part in the hair transplant process;
- High aesthetic standards.
