Female-pattern baldness is a common issue. In women, androgenetic alopecia begins with gradual thinning, followed by increasing diffuse hair loss radiating from the top of the head. Beside androgenic alopecia, hairloss causes may be various injuries as well. We successfully carry out hair transplantation in women. A teamwork of qualified doctors and assistants are the key to excellent results. With a FUE method (Follicular Unit Extraction), hair grafts are extracted individually from the entire occipital area of the head or from the body. The entire donor area is shaved off. The surgeon makes a piece-by-piece collection of grafts with a special device (punch), which does not leave linear scars. After FUE hair transplantation, microscars remain on the back of the head in the form of small red dots, which become invisible 12-14 days after the procedure. FUE hair transplantation is also used for post-traumatic and post-burn scars, for the restoration of eyebrows and eyelashes. With the FUE method, we can extract up to 4000 grafts in one 6-8 hour session. For FUE seamless method, we carefully select each graft from the donor area - we extract only 2 to 7 hair grafts, which gives you more hair and tighter density. We can transplant up to 100 follicular units per 1 cm2, which is 250 - 300 hairs average. This density is considered ideal in hair transplantation.
